Forge Animation sera présent à la 15ème édition du Cartoon Movie.

L’équipe d’écriture  de Windwalkers et d'Abyme, avec Alain Damasio et Mathieu Gaborit,  s’est rendue à la Sorbonne à Paris pour participer à la masterclass de John Truby. Le thème de cette dernière : L’anatomie du scénario. 

On the weekend of the 11th, 12th, and 13th of January 2013, Forge organised a "Wild" Workshop at its offices. Jan Kounen, Marc Caro, and Alain Damasio were present as well as 20 or so people from Forge. Together, they exchanged views on the most recent improvements to the Windwalkers script.

Durant le weekend du 11,12 et 13 janvier 2013, la Forge a organisé un nouvel atelier sauvage dans ses locaux. Jan Kounen, Marc Caro ainsi qu’Alain Damasio étaient présents, avec autour d’eux, une vingtaine de forgerons.  Ils ont partagé ensemble les avancées sur le scénario et les designs de Windwalkers –La Horde du Contrevent.

Saturday morning, at the writing workshop, Lidwine presented  the results of her research on the impact of the wind in the Windwalkers world. The first part of her presentation, which included over 700 reference images, was on the flora and fauna in the desert. It was an incredible and fascinating presentation! Over thirty fields are under consideration for the film and the game. We are thinking of making the next editions of the writers workshop open to the public.

Ce samedi matin Lidwine a présenté à l'atelier d'écriture de WindWalkers le résultat de ses recherches sur l'impact du vent sur l'écologie. Cette première partie présentait la flore et la faune en milieu désertique. Plus de 700 images de référence. Un travail incroyable et passionnant ! Plus d'une trentaine de champs sont à l'étude pour le film et le jeu, nous pensons ouvrir les prochaines restitutions au public.

Forge Animation went to the Toulouse Game Show along with its partner Shibuya International. On site they met the famous Japanese designer Yoshitaka Amano, character designer for animation and video games (Vampire Hunter D, Final Fantasy) and Suda51, president of development for the studio Grasshopper Manufacture Games.

La Forge s’est  rendue au Toulouse Game Show pour retrouver ses partenaires de Shibuya International.  Sur place ils ont rencontré  le célèbre dessinateur japonais Yoshitaka AMANO célèbre concepteur de personnages pour l'animation et le jeu vidéo (Vampire Hunter D, Final Fantasy) et SUDA51, président du studio de développement de jeux vidéo Grasshopper Manufacture.

Forge Animation thinks big and moves to a new, more environmentally friendly locale . The animation studio is now located in the Henri Poincaré  Building at  the Arbois Mediterranean Technopole which received the gold medal for Sustainable Mediterranean Buildings .

La Forge voit grand et investit ses nouveaux locaux. Emménagement au vert, dans un cadre écologique. Le studio d’animation se trouve dans le Bâtiment Henri Poincaré du Technopôle Arbois Méditerrannée ayant reçu la médaille d'or du Bâtiment Durable Méditerranéen.

The writing team leaded by Alain Damasio of WIndWalkers went to the Christopher Vogler masterclass at the Cité Centre des Congrès de Lyon. Program: Art of the narrative. It's all vibes !
